PIPE LINE
As the user of natural gas use increases, so does the need for transportation infrastructure in place to support them. With Indonesia having made up of a thousand islands, pipeline construction might not be a right option. This makes mobile transportation more efficient and effective. ETI can provide gas transportation both land and sea.
A pipeline construction project looks much like a moving assembly line. A large project typically is broken into manageable lengths called “spreads.” Pipeline Currently PT. Enviromate Technology International has a Pipeline project at Lahat, South Sumatra. Pipeline is used to transport gas from the compressor to the power plant facility. The Pipeline spreads approximately 10 KM. Pipeline is made from steel and buried 1.5 - 2.0 metres underground. How are the pipelines built?
Construction in Progress. A pipeline construction project looks much like a moving assembly line. A large project typically is broken into manageable lengths called “spreads.” Every spreads may be 30 -100 miles in length and utilizes highly specialized and qualified workgroups. Each spread is composed of various crews, each with its own responsibilities. The tasks includes:
1. Steps in the constructions process.
2. Clearing, grading and trenching.
3. Stringing and welding pipe segments together
4. Depositing the pipeline, backfilling and testing
5. Restoration.
